DC Ionic Current Measuring System

Dragonfly Tech Solutions, Bengaluru offer wide range of DC Ionic Current Measuring Systems. The equipment (Model: DCICM) is designed for short time measurement of vertical component of ionic current density in the vicinity of ±500 kV - DC transmission line at ground level for both polarities. The sensor plate will be of guarded collecting plate with suitable dimensions for getting repeatability in readings. However the size of the plate shall be in between 60cm X 60cm & 150cm X 150cm. The equipment is designed in two parts viz. 1) Sensing Plate and 2) Metering Unit. Both are interconnected with a suitable screened cable having not less than 30 meters length.

This particular equipment will be used for the measurement of ionic current density at ground level. 5 nos. of sensor plates will be supplied. The distance between sensor plates and the metering module will be about 30 mrters. Please note that the Monitor will provide one reading at a time depending on the channel chosen on the metering module.
